Despite his well-known negative attitude toward Bitcoin as an investment, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway invested $500 million in Brazilian digital bank startup, Nubank. That was in April 2021, and now the bank is looking to issue its first crypto token, Nucoin, in early 2023. According to its press release, Nucoin will serve as a reward for customer loyalty and encourage more engagement with the bank's products. Discounts and other perks will likely become a key incentivize for using Nucoin, which will be built on the Polygon network.
